Hi Friend,
I continue my adventures in the Utah backcountry with my friend Abi. It's been so beautiful to experience sisterhood, after so much solitude. We find one of my FAVORITE campsites ever, explore Capitol Reef National Park, and I share one of the most important thoughts that totally changed my life.
Keep shining. The world needs you.
Lyss.

Alyssa sweetie you are absolutely right. Life is not a journey, it's more of a quest. A quest to find the things in life that make us truly happy. Weather that be friends, a loved one, or even just a place that you stumble across accidently. My wish for you is that you find nothing but happiness along your travels. May you never go to sleep without a smile on your face. 😍 As always, BIG HUGS from Tennessee! 😁👍
  • Remember to log your fluids of your engine oil levels before setting off to another adventure so that way nothing goes wrong and check your brake pads as well. Please keep safe in this world of Wonders of True Life.
  • i AGREELYSS..We live everyday, so we need to enjoy those days as much as we can and not worry too much about the final destination..Life is too short to wake up every morning with regrets..Love the people who treat u right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason..Thanks for sharing and always be safe🙏🇦🇮
  • Listening to Mr.Watts speech, watching this beautiful video, man I’d be lying if I said it didn’t tear up a bit. Those words just hit me hard, cause that’s my life. Now 42, my life seems empty…what have I really done so far?! It’s always been wake up, go to work, rinse and repeat, since I was 10 years old. I’m so happy there are people like you with this platform to inspire others. Hopefully people will latch on to that, and take that chance too, rather than follow the cycle. Life is short, you wake up one day middle aged and look back and say, where did that time go?! You move been a robot for 20 years and have barely lived in the moment or explored what this life really has all about. This right here…this is what it should be about!
  • Being a Type A personality, who easily gets sucked into hustle culture, Alyssa’s videos are a gentle reminder of ‘What Is’ for me. The simplicity of nature that she captures so beautifully really brings me back home to myself and helps keep me grounded. Thank you❤
  • Iam one of those people. Raised 7 children, worked my ass to the bone. At 67 want to travel in our motorhome, now my wife has cancer. When her treatments are done we will travel. But how true we wait until we almost can't. Great message! Wish I would have not wanting to climb the ladder. Hope more get your message. To late for me. Thanks
  • Many years ago John Steinbeck made a journey similar to yours. His book "Travels With Charley" tells the story of his journey across America. It was a vastly different America than today. His inspiration changed my outlook on life and has served me well through many years. Regretlyss translates for me to "No Regrets" in which I've lived my long life. I've passed these traits not by mere words but in the way I lived my life as an example to my 3 three children. Do it now and never look back and by God it's been one Hell of a ride. You've done well to embark on such a journey and may you be an inspiration for others to follow. Simple words that can have a profound effect in someones life "Regretlyss - No Regrets".
  • Once again Lyss, you brought something new to the "vlog story table". This is the secret of any creative story teller and writer. I never quite know where you are taking us when we start each adventure, but as it unfolds... it is usually thought provoking, real, and always beautuful. Like any great song, there seems to be a rhythmic pattern and just when you think you have it down... you throw us a surprise. It is the balance of these patterns and surprises that keeps life interesting... your stories are just like that. The introduction of the Alan Watts audio was just what was needed to bring home the surprise of how we need to "focus on the dance". Even though he died almost a half century ago, his words are nonetheless alive and still true today. We (in particular, Americans) are so busy trying to "win" the dance, instead of living the dance. Because I usually spend the first view in the premiere chat, I normally go back and watch it several times so that i don't miss something. I can't always do that with vlogs or movies I watch. But Lyss, your stories always give me new facets to see and think about every time I watch it... it is uncanny... new things and new ideas on multiple levels. Amazing. Lyss, I want to thank you for thinking so much about us, that you would spend this much time to take us along on your journey. ✌️ Til next time... I'm going to remember to focus on the dance 🕺.

I really needed this video right now, thank you ❤ loved the statement "when did we all decide that things had to be large and important in order to justify feeling deeply about them". I've thought about that a lot lately.
