I Purchased one of these last year to use as a "practice plane", as I am new to 3D and found that my gorgeous PA Addiction X felt too special to risk regularly for learning the basics.  There were a few quality control issues with the Hobby King, such as the receptacle for the wing hold down screw arriving with a sheared off screw lodged in place, requiring some very carful drilling to get out. the plane's canopy jettisoned in flight, as yours did, but floated off, not to be found, requiring creative use of foam sheeting to keep it flying.  I was not particularly impressed with the model, but what I learned from watching you fly this inexpensive Foam plane is that flight results are 98% pilot skill dependent! You are an amazing pilot and an inspiration. I will keep at it and perhaps someday my flights may resemble, in some small portion, what you do with such grace.  Thanks for posting.

Looks a lot like the voltiguer with a new paint scheme. That being said I replaced the esc and put on a new prop also added an as3x receiver and the thing flies great as a beater 3d plane.

What a giant step down from proper aeroplane advertising Martin.

Thanks for the video. Comparing this video with your other flights one an immediately see the limitations of a small electric plane - you can only do so much with a small 4s setup, although being a truly exceptionally good pilot - you can make it fly like a much larger plane. However I think we need more 3D/Aerobatic EPO planes that run on 6s 2000+ watt setups. The jump from a .20 to .60 size makes a big difference in flight and still small enough to drop into the back of your vehicle without disassembly. Again, great job on the video and flight.

    Great video Martin many thanks👍👍

Lol you can tell the way it flies it’s sucks at 3D full fuse EPO will never be as good as balsa or flat outs.

Bizarre that HK chose to market this as an MX2, other than the famous MX Dave livery (or an adaptation of it) it has none of the unique MX2/S design features (high mounted Giles stab, low set Extra 260 wing, long 2 place cockpit and canopy and unique cowl shape) this is rather more of a Slick, somewhat generic, they would have done better calling it a Slick. I suspect though that the 3D pilots who would buy this don't know or care about the differences between the MX and Extra or Slick. The actual MX2/S ios a remarkable machine and very sexy with the high mounted stab and racy forward set low wing.
