Kyra Poh wanted to become an astronaut so she could fly. Then she discovered indoor skydiving (made possible with vertical wind tunnels). Today, she is one of the sport’s top competitors—flipping, spinning and performing stunts with grace and strength. The 17-year-old from Singapore has won more than 30 medals at indoor skydiving competitions all over the world and holds three Guinness World Records, including one for the most backwards somersaults performed in a wind tunnel in one minute—68! Poh shows us why more girls, including her 9-year-old sister, are discovering the extreme sport.

  • @staceylopez5285
Been there. It's fun but so expensive. Like almost $150 per person for a two minute time in the tunnel
  • @DangItshere
Everyone in the comments: She got 3-4 hours of sleep? Me: LEGO SPONSORED THIS? WHY?? WHAT???

It's all fun and games until you empty your checking account with this as a hobby
  • @cabin2103

  • @44BlueFoxes
So she's living off 3-4 hours of sleep a night... it's a no from me!
  • @rachellin2253
As a student in Singapore, it’s very normal to have only 3-4 hours of sleep. It’s sad but it’s true :(
  • because indoor skydiving is an extreme sport we need to keep our body fit..... sleeps 3-2 hours daily

Mad respect. Living off 4 hours of sleep, still doing well in school and still doing this every day. That's dedication.
  • @Trudloops
I love this video. I tried iFly in Baltimore, Maryland and it was great fun. It is an expensive hobby but requires great skill. If you can contort your body like Poh in a wind tunnel then go for it.
