I am a 66 year old woman and I love Lego! I like to build floor plans and then decorate and furnish them.

😱 Good heavens! 3 CAD for a functional Singer portable sewing machine, even including the case/box. All that in mint condition. No way that this could happen in Germany. 👍👌👏 Congratulations 🎉 for great purchases! Best regards, luck and health in particular.
  • Last year I went through my old Lego from the 90’s, everything was mixed together, I spent months building everything back together and sold most of it (still have a few sets left). It was a lot of work but really worth it! Made a few thousand dollars and had a great trip down memory lane as a bonus. 😉

That sewing machine is a Singer 301. Known as the big brother of the Featherweight. Highly collectible. I own 3. Lots of people look for them. Well worth $150 and up.

That sewing machine is exactly like my Mother’s. She would have gotten it in the late 50s (It May have been used). I still have it.
  • @cecoya
That Singer Machine is pretty nice, I am surprised the thrift store never looked to see what was in the case. You have a great day
  • Great find with the sewing machine! Singer 301. Direct drive, slant needle. This is quite a special machine.. featherweight v.2
  • @ReallyDizzy
That sewing machine IS a steal! Good find!
  • @DCSquirrel
I love the sewing machine. The metal machines are powerhouses and work so well.
  • I'll say it again. I really like the new intro Alex. The choice of music, your voiceover describing the channels direction and great scenic shots. Very nice!
  • The singer trapezoid case is usually associated with the 301 model. The handle on the top is confirmation. Singer 301 Longbed.
  • @lizlee6290
Your thumbnail instantly told me that was a Singer sewing machine! I could tell just by the case it's the exact model I learned on! My mother still has hers and it works fine to this day.
  • 301 are wonderful sewing machines. Hard to find one in that condition with case for under $200 in the states
  • @richwhitaker1506
Alexander you're a true hunter of bargains and treasure. Always on the trail.
  • @budster4868
Wow that sewing machine with the long bed… great for no quilting too! Nice!!
  • It’s a well organized store! Displaying their items with care! 🥰👍🏼
  • @alp-1960
You should check the Singer 301 to see if its bobbin is there, it's the same bobbin a Featherweight uses and worth more than $3 itself. It's also a good idea not run the machine with the presser foot down without fabric there, it can wear down the feed dogs and scuff up the bottom of the presser foot.
  • I love Value Village! I have never seen bags of Lego at resale shops for that low of price. Great deal on that sewing machine as well! It would be fun if you could shop there every week and film what you find. Thanks for taking us along.
