So, you want to be an artist?

Subscribe to my channel if you'd be so kind. I'm wishing to tell stories of the human condition.

Took a tour of the home studios and historical designated landmark of artist James Hubbell.
I met him years ago. Quite an interesting guy. He was working on a school in Tijuana Mexico and I got to chat with him along with my architect friend Bruce Bennett. When you get a chance to connect with artists who've left an impact on the lives of people, you get to hear some interesting stories.
Take a look at his foundation site at: ilanlaelfoundation.org/about/about-james-hubbell/
Even though he passed away last month, his contributions to art and helping place San Diego on the map of international artists, you can feel the presence of his energy through his art and other creations. His life was a work of art as he conducted himself everyday doing something creative.
I can't stress enough for people to explore their creative sides. This life we're living, especially in the USA isn't all about our jobs and what we can consume by way of material gains. You've got to leave behind a legacy of creativity that makes this world a better place for the next generations to come. We have space, we have materials....we need to absorb the best of our energies.
May James Hubbell rest in peace.

Love it! And that reminds me... I've been meaning to look into some mosaic DIY tutorials because some previous owner of my house picked some very ugly laminate for the kitchen countertops and that needs to be addressed this year, lol...
