The forks in the road of your life

What are the stories we tell one another other than a reflection of our own experiences. You and I take paths everyday. Some of those paths appear small and seemingly insignificant, but they are choices. But you find yourself in some split where you've got one or more extra choices, so, you have a fork in you path.
I'd like to think that we often make better decisions each time we make a choice with that fork. My simple advice when we come to those places where we have to make decisions in taking new directions by choice. One: don't go back unless the new paths forward are demonstrably unsafe. Two: pause before you decide. If you don't have to made a decision immediately, patience is your greatest strength. So much of the chaos in our lives would have been avoided if we were more patient. Three: be open to the new ideas. We learn a lot more by being better aware of our surroundings. Knowledge requires engaging in an exchange of information, doesn't it. Be wise and call truth to power and truth to the moment. Be honest about everything.
