While the Grand Bazaar may be the largest and most famous of Istanbul's covered bazaars, this Spice Bazaar wins the prize for being the most colorful, fragrant, and often the most fun – as visitors can taste the goods on offer. The Spice Bazaar Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the most famous covered shopping complex after the historical Grand Bazaar.

The Istanbul Spice Bazaar is a traditional bazaar focused almost entirely on food products. It’s a bustling event with both a manicured, more touristy interior, as well as a more local outdoor zone where residents come to get their daily produce at a reasonable price.
Spice Bazaar (Turkish: Mısır Çarşısı, meaning Egyptian Bazaar) has a total of 85 shops selling spices, Turkish delight and other sweets, jewellery, souvenirs, and dried fruits and nuts.
The Spice bazaar was (and still is) the center for spice trade in Istanbul, but in recent years shops of other types are gradually replacing the sellers of spices
✅What should I buy at the Spice Bazaar ?
Aside, from the spices, there are, jasmine, and fruit teas; Turkish delight in every color and flavor; herbal remedies; dried fruits such as apricots, figs, dates, strawberries and kiwis; olive oil soaps; Turkish coffee; souvenirs, types of nuts, baklava and Turkish desserts and much more besides.
The Spice Bazaar hours are 9 am – 7 pm every day, apart from religious and public holidays.
Just walking past all the shops with their many nuts, dried fruits, teas, candies and spices is a pure delight
