  • As a former infantry Marine, submariners have nothing but my respect.
  • It definitely takes a different breed to serve on a Submarine. Underwater for long periods, knowing that an accident can cost you your life. Total trust in your sea mates an Captain. An the Claustrophobic environment. Hats off to these men an women.

I served aboard two Submarines USS STONEWALL JACKSON SSBN 634 and USS WEST VIRGINIA SSBN 736, I wouldn’t change those experiences for all the money in the world. Absolutely the greatest Navy in the world. RUN SILENT RUN DEEP.

I served on land, but I have nothing but the highest respect for submariners - truly a breed apart.

Working on these incredible machines, and communicating with the brave men and women who operate them, gives me the push to do my best work. They will help you in anyway you need, point you in the right direction, and help you repair their boat with quality work.

As a Submariner myself this isn't a bad video. Some inaccuracies, but interesting for the nonquals out there. Submarines once!! Submarines twice!!..........IYKYK

I'm a Retired USAF Colonel, originally a Fighter Pilot. I hate interservice rivalry and have a great respect for the Navy and other Branches. But For those who not only go down to the Sea in ships but underneath the sea I withhold the greatest respect. These Men and Women are better than me in all respects. The russians and the chinese have no match for the US Navy. And they know it.
