Bike Touring The Little Miami Scenic Trail

Three days bike touring, ending with the solar eclipse!

The longest single trail in the Miami Valley Trails network, the Little Miami Scenic Trail provides miles of well shaded trail with great destinations along the route. Two state parks, John Bryan and Caesar Creek can be reached from the trail. You’ll definitely want to stop at the Xenia Station, the hub of four trails that meet in Xenia, Ohio. Further south, where the trail closely meanders with the Little Miami River is the Ft. Ancient State Historic Site.

15:23 Day 2
32:30 Day 3
42:30 Total Eclipse!

    ..don’t change a thing….your videos are GREAT!

I really enjoy your videos. You have a unique, relaxed, laid-back vibe…and you do a good job with the video end of it as well. As for length, I say just make them as long as they need to be.

I really enjoy all your videos. I prefer the videos to be longer, but I am enjoying all of this quality content.😄

I gotta admit, I put off watching this one because of the length, so I guess I prefer shorter videos. If I want to watch in less time, I can just adjust the playback speed, though, so whatever works for you will work for me.

Enjoyed your video very much, Bane. You have a winning personality. Personally I prefer long videos. What I really like is seeing the trail itself, as well as any special attractions along the way. I would suggest trying more voiceovers, so we can see the trail while you're talking. I'm pretty new to bikepacking and touring also. I started last year after receiving a new hip and a new knee. I'm 72 years old. I have ridden from Columbus to Xenia and back, and this summer I plan to do a round trip to Cincinatti. It is definitely a learning experience, and I am constantly shifting equipment around, trying different pedals and seats, and tweaking my setup. Keep up the good work. Be Well, my friend, and Prosper! By the way, I rode to Worthington, just outside of Columbus, on The Olentangy River Trail, to see the eclipse. It was awesome!

Could refer to Van Duzer’s channel. Suggest that you could keep each episode within 30 mins, and you may also merge related episodes into a continuum one, if you would like. Thank you for the great vlogs.

Great video !! I like my videos 20 to 30 minutes long but no biggie if their longer. I can just stop and pick up a little later if I had too. So keep on doing what you do ! And I thought your eclipse shot was cool too ! Until next time !!!

Yellow Springs was busy because they were having an Eclipse festival. It's a wonder I didn't run into you again. Too bad. I rode the Simon Kenton trail to Bellefontaine to watch the eclipse too. Stopped alongside the trail and sat up an ultralight chair and watched it. It was amazing. Glad I made the trip. Nice video ( a little something to feed that ego). Lol

You were in my neck of the woods! We should have seen you on the trail Sunday. We rode from Morgan's to Xenia and back that day. Enjoy your videos!

I’ve lost tent stakes, a single glove, a shirt and a lighter which later figured out wasn’t lost at all. Just overlooked it and ended up eating cold food. I personally like flat pedals unless I’m going out on a spirited road ride on my go-fast bike.
  • great video, dude. I enjoy your adventures. I can't believe you got that footage with an iPhone??????????
  • @amylipkin2116
longer the video, the betta!! At least an hour long, sir!! Keep pedaling...
  • Don't listen to your son! Longer videos are more informative and entertaining.
