I think Titanus Tiamat going dormant and "obeying" Godzilla had much the same thought behind it as Titanus Scylla taking Godzilla's order to flee from the nuclear bomb, more or less mentally telling itself "alright, I'll do what you say, but this isn't over" in a way, I'm thinking Tiamat was just preparing for a rematch with Godzilla, but G-Man interrupted her plots.

Wished Godzillas fights were a little longer in this movie, he was so op that nothing stood a slight chance, but still super happy we got a comic only kaiju into one of the movies. Really adds the connectivity the monsterverse has needed that the films alone cant do.

I think another thing is that after the events of KOTM, and the loss of Mothra, Godzilla believed he had to be more ruthless and merciless. For example: in the Mothra/Rodan fight, she could’ve easily gone for a fatal blow, but she chose to incapacitate him, showing him mercy. And in GxK, Godzilla came very close to (SPOILERS) …Killing Kong, but was stopped by Mothra. I think that Godzilla is naturally a bit of a hot head and Mothra is his voice of reason, leaving him to be a ruthless, but balancing force of nature

Before I even watch, didn't they explain she was at the apex point where radiation hit the earth and she was absorbing it for something. The G man didn't like that and it seemed a bit suspicious that she was trying to power up. So he ended it before it started
