  • You know, when you think about it, the G-Man actually used Scylla's own strategy of powering up to help combat Shimo

As a Scylla fan, I found it ironic how Godzilla was just fed up with her and decided to end it there. Though I wish Scylla put a little bit more of a fight since she was doomed to die-

Ngl this and Tiamet don’t really surprise me. Godzilla knew an old enemy was coming to face him and that he needed to be ready so having 2 major titans defy him at this time was a threat and something that needed to be dealt with quickly
  • Scylla exploding like that was absolutely brutal but badass at the same time.

Godzilla isn’t unreasonable but Scylla and Tiamat both openly defied him multiple times so I’m not surprised he’s done with showing mercy.
  • The way Godzilla jumped on two legs and get that much air was epically terrifying! I seen him jump on all fours, but doing on 2 legs just shows how scary athletic he can be. Can’t wait to see y’all talk about him vs Tiamat and I loved this movie.🙂

Scylla's actually lucky because Godzilla actually gave her a second chance. He could've finished her in Dominion especially after she was causing trouble and attacked him. Tiamat, understandably, was not given that second chance. It also explains why Godzilla was ready to throw hands with Kong again. Granted he was getting carried away, but Gman was really getting fed up of other Kaiju not respecting boundaries.
  • One detail I saw from a gif on Twitter. Right before Godzilla fires his atomic breath, you can actually see Scylla try to shank Godzilla with her leg, only for Godzilla to grab it and stab herself with it, instead.

Scylla (detecting radiation): gimme gimme Godzilla: You little sh^t get back here
  • Gone but not forgotten, literally she had the balls to stand up to the G man not once, not twice, but three times! Gotta give credit where it’s due, even if it ends up with her demise.
  • @GunlessSnake
Unfortunate that this had to happen, but out of the Titans we've seen, it did make the most sense that Godzilla would've killed Scylla and Tiamat given his past history with both.
  • Her death could arguably be even more brutal than female muto , she literally blew up from the inside
  • Moral of the story: Some titans are just too dangerous to be left alive!
  • @ThePatman1980
I just rewatched Godzilla x Kong a second time today and came away impressed by Shimo. She got hit by Godzilla’s pink blast twice and it didn’t kill her.
  • @AGuyThatsHere
well, it’s basically one word to sum it all up: disobedience
  • @GojiCenter
Did you know, according to the official Novelization of GxK The New Empire, Scylla may have fought Godzilla already in a fight that happened before the events of Godzilla Dominion! More fun details will be revealed in the next episode!

While it was sad to see scylla go as she was a very interesting titan, tbh it was quite deserved, and im glad they brought something from kotm and the comics back.

I can't wait for pt 2 because I wanna see how your Tiamat design is I looked on the wiki and it said she has 4 small legs, but in the novel I don't see any legs. Just her 2 big fins, which do you think is the right design? Or she has both? Idk, maybe they made her look like Manda but no. Who knows
