Path of Exile - RUTHLESS Necropolis League Starter Guide (Popcorn Golems Elementalist)

This looks amazing Shmee. I have been rocking and rolling with your duelist slayer slam build in ruthless and I was waiting to start my ruthless necropolis league until you posted your idea of a good ruthless build for this league! And here it is! Can’t wait to try it out. For anyone who is wondering about things like where is the path of building, what are the exact gear choices, I want more concrete info etc etc Just know that Shmee understands how flexible and I predicts able ruthless can be so he offers builds that WILL NOT lead you astray and set you up to incorporate so much of the different and interesting stuff you are able to find along the way. You just can’t count on a lot of specific stuff in Ruthless, but that makes the journey so much better. Shmee is a ruthless build scaffolding master. He gives the skeleton and then we get to learn it, foster it, and grow it into something awesome!

Looks really fun. Already went with Ice Shot for this ruthless league, but I'll definitely give it a try in the next one.

Never had any intention of playing this but still clicked and sat through the entire video. I like that you actually use visual aids and relevant B-roll instead of just sitting in your hideout while yapping. Also helps that you have a great voice. I know the thing about this build being great for new players was more of a side note, but I can definitely see potential for a guide angled more specifically at newer players which utilizes the flexibility of the build by including/suggesting a couple of different paths they can take. All in all, good work!

I can really recommend Stone Golem of Safeguarding with this build. It provides up to 49% melee damage taken by your golem before your life. Much stronk (and the gem is easy to get as it's a red Transfigured gem too so you don't need a Stone Golem gem at all)

Thanks for the great guide! I just have a question: why is it needed to take Devotion skill node?As I can see there's no consecrated ground in this build, is it only to boost life amount or consecrated ground will be used by this build?

So, what stats do you look out for? You say this is beginner friendly but, what am i looking for? Burning damage? Miniom dmg, lightning damage? How does one maximize a 6L with this build regardless of all the options? Ty for sharing tho.
