I now understand how it felt when the avatar vanished when the world needed him most. Hope all is well man

Here it is, guys. A year has passed since Samuel Kim stopped delighting us with his covers. He was so close to 2 million subscribers... so sad😭

Day 1 of asking "Where are you?" Let's see how long this lasts.

It's just not the same without Samuel releasing new covers every week. Really hope he comes back, he's probably taking a break I'm guessing.

Hey Samuel, hope you're doing well. I've been following you since 2019 and I've always been amazed for you music. Till' today, I'm still listening to you work and just wanted to say Thanks because you inspired me to create my own channel almost two years ago and during this time I've been able to meet awesome people that also make music. I'm 17 and I realized that this isn't an easy job as many people think. Dealing with criticism is difficult but I try not to pay attention to it because part of this is to enjoy what you really like to do. I'm still learning a lot by myself and I want to get better whenever I share a new cover as you used to, Samuel. Again, thank for being part of my life. Just as you inspired me, you were able to inspire many more. My most sincere respects to you. We miss you, Samuel. ❤️

Summary of Attack On Titan: 1. Make a good episode accompanied by great music 2. Samuel Kim comes along and turns this song into the best and most epic version it could be
  • ”Eren… Listen… I need to tell you something. You’ve always… been at my side. Thank you. You showed me… how to live with purpose. Thank you. And you… you wrapped this scarf around me. Thank you.” - Mikasa Ackerman

Dear Sam, On behalf of millions and also as a fan of your beautiful successful creations, I pray that you are well and healthy. May god bless you with more than what you had given us and more than you deserve. Thank you for being there unknowingly during our hardest times. You have no clue how much your music had impacted us and made our lives better. May yours be amongst the best. We do hope in silence for your return but regardless, thank you Samuel Kim, for everything. Yours truly
  • After the special episode, this hits harder than ever 💔😔
  • Since "Under the tree" is from Mikasa's perspective, it was a perfect choice to have a girl sing this beautiful song..amazing cover! Also can you please make a cover of "bauklötze" next? Ever since they used it in the special episode I can't get it out of my mind!
  • @FeinnSan
This cover feels as if it was meant as a "Goodbye..." Wherever he is, I hope he's doing well. Thank you, Sam
  • One piece, Demon slayer, Jujutsu kaisen, and Attack on Titan on the horizon. The world needs Samuel kim back more than ever.

Akuma no ko was Eren's perspective now this is Mikasa's It already felt soooooo emotional to hear the original one and now here you are with an "emotional" version Whyyy o why😭

No one has mentioned about this (at least recently) so I'm gonna put this out. If I remember correctly 3-5 months after this video was posted, Samuel made a post on his community tab "promoting" something for one of his friends. That community post since be deleted for some reason. This means he was definitely still alive between June-August last year. There's no concrete evidence that he passed away/in a coma and it's more likely that he's sorting out some legal issues with one of his old music services (Distrokid) because they "betrayed/screwed" him. With that being said, I do believe Samuel is ghosting us because his Instagram account used to be active with a lot of posts but now almost all the posts except for three have been archived/deleted along with his story highlights. I won't say not all hope are lost in terms of him returning but the odds are looking pretty slim. Edit 25/4/24: Specified the music service that betrayed him + fixed some grammar issues. Edit 2: 4/5/24: Was definitely alive on 6/6/23. Go to Deezer or Apple music and the latest release of a song (The Prince Of Egypt - Deliver us) is that date.
