As a kid I was so excited to grow up, they always told us that we’ll regret it when we’re older, and I do. I want to share how I’ve been feeling recently because there’s been a lot on my mind. I really appreciate if you take the time to watch this video. I appreciate you all :), see you soon

Hey Aleena! I definitely related to a lot of your concerns about going to uni. I didn't feel confident about making friends or the new environment, I was quite content doing my own music/content creation aha. I was also very apprehensive about going out drinking/clubbing and felt there was quite a lot of pressure to do so because that is what people my age were excited about doing! In my first year of uni I didn't actually go out very much, I enjoyed going to the pubs but clubbing wasn't really my scene. However, this year, I actually went clubbing and enjoyed it (which was surprising). But despite that, I don't regret not going out as much as people usually would in the first year. Go at your own pace, but when you feel ready to and you're around people you feel safe with, it's actually quite fun to try these new and exciting things 💗✨

Life doesn’t always go according to plan, and that’s okay. Trust that each experience, whether good or bad, is leading you to where you need to be.
