the father didn't die on the spot. he was left there agonizing and died later on. this was one of the reasons the son was so angry against the perpetrator. I love resumed stories but you need to respect the script. the whole point of this drama isn't the story but the way the actors played it. it is really a masterpiece, and it's a shame to discover this through a 1h resume. if you love it before the end, just stop watching and go for the real thing.
