Beyond Sunset is a first person shooter, or boomer shooter. Like a Doom ina Cyberpunk setting. Instead of Keycards you collect arms, that act as Handprint Scanner. Kinda funny, that this is a reacurring theme, that a retina scanner of fingerprint scanner works with a severed body part. Like these scanners can't check for a pulse. Well Game of Film logic, might not apply to the real world.

In the Game you're in a dystopian cyberpunk city and partially in cyberspace of computers. This fits into the whole retro futurism the game tries to schieve.
The music is pulsing in the background and adds to the theme. So i would say its a round package.

The levels are big. This can be a good and a bad thing. Good, so that you don't feel like you follow a narrow corridor to the end of the level, but it also bad, if you get lost in the level. Sadly that's a thing that happened to me. You get your Journal, that tells where to go. But just by the name i can only guess that i'm in the right area and look for a doorway that opened up.

Beyond Sunset is pretty cheap on it's own, but if you scroll down you also see alot of bundles, where the game is in. This is basically how i got the Game in first place. So if you're interested, it's worth to check the bundles.
