Nice one. I did the trip on my own in July - to celebrate my 60th birthday at BaseCamp. Afterwards I spend a week in Kathmandu, then flew to the island of Koh Lipe in the very south of Thailand via Kuala Lumpur. Altogether the most fascinating vacation of my lifetime I’d say. Having the beauty of the Himalayas combined with the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Why did you go up via Tengboche when there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley? The Mong La - Photse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail offers vastly better views high across the valley, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Tengboche can be visited on the way down.
