Now that I’m 23, it’s hard figuring life out sometimes and I stress myself out. As I continue to grow up into the early teens, I’ve been seeing a lot of people I graduated high school with already have degrees, dream jobs, starting families etc, I would always have a feeling as if I’m not making progress in life. I still feel that way sometimes, but something that I just tell myself is that everyone figures out their life at their own pace. Remember that each of our journeys are different, so never compare yourself to other people. We will all figure it out eventually! Explore and enjoy the moments during this stage of life, you will get to where you need to be!

“Ladies you’re gonna wanna sit down for this” I can’t stop laughing 😂
  • It’s crazy how this guy shows what it will look like for most of his viewers in a fun way and kinda explains what’s good and bad and why we should be looking forward to adulthood. Keep going James!

This hit me hard. Almost everything you mentioned is happening or has happened sometime this past year. Thanks for putting this out into the world

"Ladies...you're gonna wanna sit down for this" I felt that

Platypus: "Am i ever gonna find something i'm truly passionate about?" That hit a little too close....

I watched this back when it came out, and I am 18 currently, and this video hit so hard. Last semester, I went to university for physics and math and I was dead the entire way through right from the beginning. Like those two were my favourite subjects, and I was failing. It literally destroyed me. I've never had such a hard time, and everyone around me seemed like they were doing great. Like what was wrong with me? I realized late into the semester that it was okay to just calm down, and work on yourself. I wasnt failing because I was stupid -it was the 'boss' in my head that'd berate me constantly. By the end of the sem, my life got improved when I just let myself be free. Giving myself some love was the only reason I passed. Growing up means you're your own boss, but when that boss hates the shit out of you, you'd remember how nice it was when someone else who cared about you was in control. But I do want my own life, and I guess understanding how to love yourself is apart of adulthood.

I’m 29 and something that really helped me go through life is spirituality, constantly reminded that there is a higher reality is a relief and a liberation from all worries and bondages.

“LADIES! You’re going to want to sit down for this.” ACCURATE AF!
  • “OH, LADIES!!!” ”You’re gonna…you’re gonna want to sit down for this one…”

Becoming and adult was the best thing that had happen to me. I am now 28 and i would never even dream of comming back to school. The only thing i can agree is being tired part. I work out and run regularly and yet i still feel tired. The food part is easily fixable. The most healthy dishes are the most basic ones and it never takes too much time (like idk, potatoes eggs and salad or rice and chicken) The only problem with life is that it sometimes becomes so comfortable that you might lose the will to even do stuff.

As a 33 year old, these are all so accurate, just wait until you have tiny humans relying on you too
  • Puberty Platypus finishes talking about his existencial crisis James: That's rough buddy 😂
  • @JulienAzelart
it’s honestly scary how accurate this is for my life lol

I remember being in my mid-20s and having no idea, being overwhelmed and afraid of life. But at the same time, I had the most fun ever between 25 and 32. Now that I'm in my mid-30s, I'm more focused on my career, having a nice home and my relationship. On the weekends I hardly go out to have fun, it's more like, "I need to fix my yard, it needs to be ready for summer parties!". But yea... all in all I see life more relaxed. There are still parts that I'm confused or clueless about, but I realized that we all just have no idea about certain areas of life, so just ask around. Someone will know the answer to your problem, just as you have some advice for others.
