Yorkshire photography hides

Publicado 2024-04-20
Hello and welcome to my channel. In this video I will be showcasing Yorkshire photography hides. They are located between Bradford and Leeds, near to the M62. At the time of releasing this video, they had 3 active hides - with more on the way. The particular hide I am in on this video is 'Charlie's' Hide. The hide is set up on some grass land on a private farm, Mick is the owner of these hides, on this one he guides you to the hide and you basically park up a few yards away, Then he sets up all the feed on the props and shows you how to put more out and the mice bait for the Kestrel (which is the star of the show at this hide)

Come rain or shine, the Kestrels come in to feed. Other typical farmland birds also frequent the hide so there is plenty to work with.

I personally use Nikon equipment, being a mixture of DSLR and Mirrorless equipment, I am not sponsored in any way, shape or form by Nikon so this is my personal choice. Other manufacturers will still be valid.

Both the 300 and 500 will be good for this hide. Might be worth taking a bean bag, they have bean bags but they go missing at times.

I'll be heading up to this hide next week. Are there any useful tips you can provide in advance for me getting up there. Like you, I have a 300mm and 500mm but anything else?
