“Ya know what, I didn’t know her.” Craig’s on screen for 2 seconds, steals the segment. Please have him back.

It's not an interview, it's two comedian friends hanging out in front of a camera and an audience for 10 minutes, and I'm here for it.
  • @kaiasmith5404
I love that the minute Oliver gets on the show they both giggle for 9 minutes straight
  • "Please don't tell anybody" "I'm going to tell everybody" Lol, John is the best
  • @NewMessage
If there was an Emmy for 'best appearance on another guy's show', he'd win that too.
  • The idea of a drunk John Oliver being kicked out of Buckingham Palace for humping the metal knight armors is just hilarious to me
  • This whole segment had me in tears. Even Craig's "You know what? I didn't know her" killed me
  • @spameranne
John Oliver letting loose on other late night shows is always a treat :)
  • @nihilisthetic
Craig only getting 5 seconds of screen time but proving just by being himself that he needs to be the permanent drummer for Seth 😂
  • And sure enough, football fans did end up chanting/singing "LIZZIE'S IN A BOX" at a game lol.

I always like watching John Oliver on other talk shows. He always feels like he’s there to cause trouble
  • "The question in their mind is always 'Will they behave?' not 'Why might they not?' There's no introspection..." I really like that and think it could be applied in a lot of contexts

I love Seth's laugh in this segment, you can truly tell that he loves John's humor. That is Seth's real nerdy laugh and I'm here for it.

I love Johns wife. Every story he tells of her is just golden.

"whenever a senior royal dies, I will be here to give it the disrespect it deserves" this is one of the many reasons why you're brilliant, John!!!
  • @kaelrsmith
"Mourning the shocking loss of a 96 year-old woman from natural causes" was my favorite part of that LWT episode. 😂
  • "I really can't go there and behave" is John going anywhere and I mean that in the best way possible! Him and Seth meeting always makes me so happy

I can understand the "forced mourning" from when I was stationed in Okinawa when Emperor Hirohito died and we were required to wear dark colors, be quiet etc even as Shinto Monks were dancing in the streets wearing red. Okinawa is technically part of Japan but the native Okinawans suffered greatly through the years under Japanese's rule.
