  • This story / film is created to help people learn German language. Almost all the beginner level vocabulary is included in it. I don't understand why people are commenting on the storyline and not appreciating the efforts done for teaching the language in such a simple and effective manner.
  • @notrealecho
I love how instead of making it like most other boring language course videos, DW has given it a story and made it really engaging for the anyone who not only wants to learn German but also most foreigners in general. Great job DW.
  • @vadimm2911
A huge work behind the film. People just don't realize how difficult is to craft a learning material for a specific level (low) with broad coverage of topics and grammar. But DW and teachers they hired did an amazing job! Thanks for your hard work, really motivated to learn German to A2/B1 levels to find out what are the next movies are about.
  • @ReCreso
I love how they're all speaking like a book, and also how every German clearly knows English but wants Nico to suffer.
  • @alanhilame2897
More 30 minutes of it and Nico would go from 'Hallo, Ich heiße Nico' to reading Goethe's books.

Lehrer : what do you learn from this movie ? Me : never lose your tasche. 💀
  • @thanhfitness2000
  • Reading few negative comments I just think: It is too difficult to appreciate all the work that is behind this? Obviously they are all Germans trying to act as different people base on the needs that people like me/you have, obviouly no all people around the world are kind and will open their doors if u have a problem. THIS IS AN EDUCATIONAL MOVIE, its not a Hollywood movie people, wake up! Its much more useful for students when you hear the German in a correct way even if Nico is a foreigner wo is not supposed to know how to pronounce a word, this is the real way of learning, if I'm a student is not good to hear bad pronunciation. Being in level B1 and watching this I just feel why I didn't find something like this when I started learning? It has a lot of input compressible that it will help you a lot! Please stop seeing the world in a negative way and start seeing how wonderful is to have material like that FOR FREE.
  • Props to DW for not only making a fabulous FREE course that is by far the best one of the kind, but for producing a funny, entertaining and at times incredibly moving film to go along with it.
  • @endriendri-vz8iy
Before I start my language course I found german difficult. But now Im very happy that without subtitles, I can understand 80% of the words. It is a great organised movie. Thank you, Danke DW.
  • @isheep225
Mad respect for the actors. They're showing emotion and seriousness like if anybody would matter about their performance in this nonsense story. I enjoyed the show thanks. Like, it's almost art.
  • @fabio-maciel
The quality of production and actors are incredible high.
  • @romeofardeen
This is how you spread your culture internationally. Ich lerne Deutsch just for fun. This is very helpful. Kudos to DW.
  • @Josypx

  • @Weasel_Dhia
I wish I could be this chill if I'd lose my bag in a foreign country
  • @caioton
Nico spricht besser deutsch in ein Stunde als ich in 1 Jahr 🤦🏻
