  • Jon NEEDS to get Andrew in his podcast, these little reunions have been so great!
  • So glad Jon got Norman on. These 2 are some of my favorite actors ever
  • You can see Jon's eyes tear up when Norman says he is always chasing trying to find friendships like what they had on the show.
  • I've always loved the chemistry of The Walking Dead's cast. I think part of the reason it was such a phenomenon was because of the cast cohesion. The main group only feels like such a family because the cast are such a family.
  • We desperately need Andrew Lincoln to come on the show! I can imagine that episode would be such a great episode 😁
  • hearing them both talk about Scott is heartbreaking, they really loved the legend
  • Norman Reedus makes his acting look effortless, the emotions he shows in the show just seem so natural and he killed it as Daryl
  • My hubby and I met Scott Wilson at a comic con the year before he passed. He was so kind and soft spoken. We had no idea he was sick. It was really great to meet him and do the photo op.
  • After hearing his story about walking home after school, it solidifies even more why he was perfect as (for) the character of Daryl. He has the "lone wolf" mentality in real life.
  • RIP Scott Wilson , never really realized he passed away ; Herschel was such an intense character without ever being mean .

It’s quite impressive that Jon Bernthal left the show very early and managed to end up the most successful actor out of all the cast through his other movies and shows. Most walking dead actors that left never really got other roles
  • Feels like Jon is still in character…even just watching him listen to Norman feels like I’m watching Shane. He was born to play that character!
  • Norman learning to act through using his own personal emotions was such an emotional thing to listen to. it's what makes his acting so real - and why he's created one of my favourite characters in fiction

I find interesting the fact that Norman says he's really aware of mortality, knowing that he starred in The Walking Dead and has the main role in Death Stranding, where all those themes focus on
  • The Walking Dead OG’s Norman Reedus and Jon Bernthal! Loved your performances on the show, real chill discussion 👏👏👏😊
  • I met Norman at a Zombcon in Seattle the first year of the walking dead..Bernthal was also supposed to be there but he cancelled. Norman was the coolest, most down to earth dude. I was walking down the hallway of my hotel with my girlfriend and he commented on our zombie costumes and walked with us as we made our way to the event.... He carried a bottle of whiskey most of the night sipping from it and chatting with people.. At one point in the evening they had a zombie prom in the ballroom and Norman was dancing with his bottle of whiskey on the dancefloor surrounded by zombies..It was so surreal and funny at the same time.. He was really having a good time.
  • Seeing Scott come back to film on Rick’s final episode, at the time, was so moving. Feels like it was just yesterday, but it’s been nearly 4 years nw that I think about it. Time does indeed fly. 💯 R.I.P. Scott Wilson. 💐🕊️

It's interesting watching this clip keeping in context Sarah's interview with Jon. Norman said that he was not particularly close to Frank Darabont b/c Frank was "in love with Andy (Rick), Sarah (Lorie) and Jon (Shane)." This is why Norman more than likely wasn't apart of the group who were willing to fight for Frank when he was dropped from the show because (1) he wasn't personally close to Frank and (2) the character of Daryl, while important, was never intended, by Frank, to be a major lead of the show. It's telling how POST Frank Darabont, Daryl steadily became a more central figure of the show. This is no shade to Norman, but he most certainly benefitted from Frank no longer working on TWD.
