Thanks Anna! Great video! 🙌 TEFL is something that I have been considering doing for a while.

This is a really cool idea Anna! Have lots of friends do similar, so well done on actually doing it and monetising on it. Glad your enjoying it so far!! :)

The video I’ve been waiting for. Thank you so much!
  • What an interesting video! Definitely a side hustle to think about - especially at the current times.

I see I've not been the only one of your subs that have been waiting for this video. I don't know if you could do a bit more, like a demo of a lesson, although I expect there's maybe a copyright or confidentiality issue. Anyways many thanks for posting. I'm really keen to try this out. Quite nervous about doing the actual do. I know I'm a good "teacher" at work with new recruits. I'm patient and empathetic but I'm also very very shy so I am needing to summon up quite a lot of inner courage to actually go online and put myself out there! I left a comment on your TEFL video, so I've made the first step 🤗

I use Preply, too. It is a fantastic teaching tool. I was able to get a lot of new students within 48 hours, too.
  • @StockOverflow
I bet you feel fantastic slowly watching your students grasp English more and more. I'd like to visit Poland one of these days. I was going to start making yearly trips to Europe after my 2019 trip to Germany, but that certainly didn't happen.

Hahaha we love the extra video! Great stuff anna! ☺️

Thank you so much for sharing about your experience! Super helpful. 🙏💫
  • Thanks a million Anna - as we say in Ireland! Just starting out in this new venture as I have recently retired and Home Alone with my cat!! I will sign up for a TEFL course to give me more confidence, as I have never teached before and hopefully I will be accepted by Preply - the hardest part! What I really liked about your 2 videos that I have watched so far, is your total honesty and frankness in helping me to decide - nothing ventured nothing gained! I wish you every success for the future. My only negative comment is in you using that horrible word "BASICALLY" too often - it should be taken out of the English language as it's basically NAFF and has no real meaning - SORRY!
  • Thank you very much for giving an amazing idea. 💡 More power to your channel.

Nice side hustle Anna. I use italki to teach Welsh as one of my 11 streams of income. They only take 15% commission and you can sign up to just do conversation lessons if you like. No prep then! That's what I do. If you have to prep your own lessons that's a whole different ball game. Keep up thee good work creating the life you want to live 📚✅😁

I'm glad you're journey is positive and you've found students so quickly 😊. I have some questions, your interface looks different from older videos I have watched. Does Preply have all the lessons ready for you? You just choose one and work through it or do you have to prepare your own lessons from scratch?
  • @sarahjane391
Perfect timing! I’m nearly at the end of my TEFL course. 🙌
  • @PrettyPennyClub
Very interesting. Nice side hustles. Wouldn't suit me I don't think, not sure I could fit the time in. Interesting that preply is cheaper to use the longer you stay on it. Weeds out the uncommitted folks. Looks a good interface too. Nice work!
