Yeah put the blame of everyone else. Such BS .
  • Local law enforcement had drones that would've spotted the guy. The SS said no to that.

He mentions with absolute indignation, "we assumed". Wow the incompetence and feigned hurt and blame shifting just keeps getting more and more man child like.
  • The Secret Service is Responsible for the Protection of all designated people protected. You, the Secret Service, totally dropped the ball, didn’t establish a method of inter agency communication and failed to ensure that building was properly locked down, either on top of the roof or the buildings periphery. You can delegate responsibility, but never your accountability. You FAILED.

One of the first things you learn when entering the workforce is to never assume something will get done. Absolute disgrace the leadership of USSS blew that simple rule completely.
  • You can delegate authority, but you can not delegate responsibility. That is a point of law. Secret Service was responsible
  • The secret service is ultimately responsible for providing protection. The comments towards local law enforcement are just more deflection.
  • The nerve on these ss directors. The feeling they provoke with their sorry answers is undescribable

Pointing the finger at local police is a cover-up of what the SS failed to do from a location 150yrds away from the podium.

Lindsay be true to yourself. Police department the lesson you should take away from this case is all conversations between department Heads must be recorded ,video taped too.

Well I'm not the smartest person in the world 🌍,,,, BUT I see in this clip that a police officer is looking at the building
  • @tony5826
They went downstairs to give him the ladder then they put it back inside the building.
