A dude makes a video about his friend dying, never once mentions steroids, never once preaches... just says "Life is short, call your loved ones and tell them you love them." And all of you hurl insults and negativity. Jesus Christ man, there's a time and a place. Sorry for your loss Mike.

I liked Rich. He was honest about his drug use/abuse. And I can't help but respect that.

I was totally blown away. RIP Rich Piana. He knew what he wanted in life and was willing to pay whatever price was needed for it. He really was passionate about lifting. God Bless His Soul.

I'm so gutted about Rich, he was an inspiration to so many of us. Teaching us, motivating us. I didn't know him man to man but I watched him for years, from mutant to his own 5% nutrition. You could see he was a genuinely good guy. He cared about everyone at every single expo, he had time for everyone weather it be pictures, questions or just general life advice and not only at expos but in everyday life. He will be missed. Rest in peace Rich Piana, save me a place in the gold gym in the sky.

I miss Rich… days when I didn’t want to hit the gym, I’d watch his videos before going to the gym & I’d instantly get a boost of motivation…
