I wasn’t ready for the first one right off the bat talking about the kangaroos LOL 🦘 idk what I expected though haha okay at the time, my biggest culture shock was in the philippines. I went to take a shower at my aunt’s house and there’s just a big bucket of water and a cup. no running water. it runs during a certain time of the day, so you fill up a huge bucket. it was cold and weird. and then I went to thailand. the hotel bathroom was normal, but then I was at a restaurant and was having stomach issues already by like day 2 and had to poop. I walk into the bathroom and there’s a garden hose hooked up to the wall, water all over the place. there’s no toilet paper. I’m like freaking out and confused, I run back out and ask my dad what I’m supposed to do. and he’s just like there’s no toilet paper, you have to use the hose 😭
