🐔 Conventionally raised chicken, confined in unnatural conditions and fed with genetically modified corn and soy, poses health risks due to antibiotic overuse, reduced nutrient content, and lower levels of beneficial compounds.

🥓 Salami, bacon, and bologna, high in harmful compounds like nitrites, trans fats, and spermine, have been strongly linked to increased risks of heart disease, cancer, and other health issues.

🧇 Chicken nuggets, made with mechanically separated meat, high in unhealthy fats and low in nutrients, combined with carbohydrate-rich bread casing that causes inflammation and cell damage when deep-fried, cooked in reused cheap oil containing harmful compounds like Acrolein, should be avoided.

    I have been a vegetarian since 1963 and I'll be 90 in a few months. I agree that family history also plays a big role in one's health, so taking care of your body makes a big difference. I did not get involved in smoking or drinking alcohol, and that really helped in my longevity. God bless those who are trying to help people stay healthy and happy.
  • This presentation is about the food produced in the United States of America. I live in Australia where we have very strict food standards where certain additives are banned. I don't eat farm raised fish as I don't know what they feed the growing fish.
  • No sorry.. epidemiology can not inform on risk the word is" associated " not risk, if you want to say bacon increase risk you must be able to show a control study on humans or else it's a association, and that association is most likely due to the foods consumed with processed meats like bread, pancakes, orange juice, muffins etc. Just like how egg consumption in the west is associated with poor outcomes but in Asia it's associated with longer healthy lives? It's what is consumed with the meat and eggs.

  • When I was a boy grow up in the deep country side of Jamaica ,my grandfather as large farms .all the cows eat natural grass and sugar cain leaves and carrots cabbage corn and leaves and the drink natural clean rain water and the run about in green fields with green grass.the milk was nice and the beef .when the kill a cow for meat. Chicken run around the farm yard and out in green feels and the sleep in chicken shade the got dried green in there so the chicken relax after a long day .the chicken egg were nice ,even when they kill chicken the meat was delicious when cook. All the crops were grown naturally fruit coffee yams sweetpotatoes too and all coine of fruit ,and honey bees ,the was what I saw with my own eyes ,people speak of farming as now idea what they take about .if they see real organic food my grandfather grows on is farm back then they be shock ,they were so delicious .and all the people who work for my family back the they were all healthy some of them die in there 90s .🇯🇲🇬🇧✍

  • Hard for people living in the city's and towns to eat fresh food,and if they move to the country they cant fend for themselfs.they are lost they cant figure out how to do for themselfs

  • Seems to me large scale farming is killing people. That's why we need more smaller farms like old school family farms and local farm markets
