True fact: Gligar is apparently inspired by the facehuggers from Alien. There are early beta sprites that give it a much closer resemblance, and the name is similar to HR Giger. This is why its Pokedex entry describes it wrapping around people's faces.

I would like to add that as of Scarlet and Violet, Furret can now learn Tidy Up meaning not only is it a perfect little guy, he also helps cleans up any messes around the house and that’s lovely

Its kinda funny and somewhat sad that the Meganium line's only real claim is being the best pet. Which is fine. After all. Who wouldn't love to have a pet dinosaur that helps your yard grow. A Meganium helping the yard grow, a Granbull snoozing on the porch, a Smeargle painting a picture of the scene, a Ledian sleeping beside it and a Quagsire just...being Quagsire in the pond sounds like a great life to live in the pokeworld

I feel like Dark gets too bad a rap. It being called "Evil" in Japanese doesn't necessarily make it the wicked horror Satan type like most people think it does. Mostly it's just them heeling on the opponent with dishonorable tactics like biting, stealing held items and ganging up with a group attack

Well, in the Pokemon anime episode "Houndoom's Special Delivery", we find out that a Mareep farmer has a Houndoom as a pet that can deliver things, and when Misty's Togepi gets lost, the Houndoom protects Togepi and carries it around to help it find Misty again.

9:28 One of [Ariados's Dex entries] even implies it can make friends. The dex entry in mind: "It attaches silk to it's prey and sets it free. Later, it tracks the silk to the prey and its friends." Pretty sure the operative word for that particular entry is prey.
