This reminds me of the guy who bought the 1985 Iroc Z brand new, then towed it home and put it in the back of a semi trailer for over 20 years with only 4 miles on it. Still had the window sticker on it, as well as plastic on the seats and steering wheel. My boss at the time bough it off Ebay and he let me clean it up and after a month of professional and meticulous cleaning and polishing, it looked like it rolled off the assembly line. Surprisingly it had zero rodents enter the car, not one spec of mouse poop anywhere and the inside actually still smelled brand new with no dust or dirt anywhere inside! I sold that car at auction and it now sits in a car museum and won’t be driven again. Look it up on YouTube. 85 Iroc with 4 miles and you will see the story. I’ll never forget being a part of that, it was truly amazing! Thank you Jack Oliver (My former employer, who is now passed away) for giving me the honor of being a part of that time capsule. May you rest in peace.

How can anyone forget about these cars for over 40 years? It's a huge garage that everyone can see every day.

I want to have the kind of money where you leave three luxury cars in a garage and forget about them for 40 years

This video is not just about restoring a car; it's about respecting automotive heritage. The lesson here goes beyond the mechanics of restoration; it's about cherishing and preserving the legacy of classic automobiles. The care taken to revive this Corvette highlights the importance of maintaining cultural artifacts for future generations. It's a reminder that each vehicle, no matter its age, has a story to tell, and it's our responsibility to honor that narrative. Truly inspiring work!

The body style of this Corvette and the classic 60's Mustang are my absolute favorite cars! Thank You for bringing this car back to a showroom shine.

:hand-pink-waving: Quick note: the vette with the bubbled out rear window is a '79, not a '78. Great video! Cheers! :hand-pink-waving:
  • That was satisfying having this car cleaned and going again. What a difference.
  • Unlike every other detailing channel yours just keeps on getting better and better. The teamwork between you three is great, the humour and the personal touch, awesome. It's not about how fantastic you are and how amazing everyone thinks you are, it's the passion for cars. And you do sooo cool cars! Everything from all ages, not just muddy, repos or luxurycars. You're humble since you don't brag with your knowledge, you keep on asking us for advice and information. Super. Each video is also a bit different, not standardized. And by the way, PERFECT music at the end.

The other two are obviously a silver anniversary and a pace car. My husband ordered a silver anniversary in 78 and is still his favorite Vette ever. And he’s had a bunch since. Right now it’s a 2003 golden anniversary and it was his last! Great video guys! Very rewarding! ❤️
  • I had a 1979 L-82 4-speed, Corvette yellow with glass T-tops. Watching this video makes me yearn for it, I'd wished I never sold it. I re- lived your steps of detailing this car as I pretty much did the cleaning procedures much like you did. My significant other just purchased an 84 two tone blue so we will be busy following your steps in tackling this vehicle. Great job guys! I think I can find that jack now, lololol!

wow! i'm flabbergasted with how amazing you both did in bringing this vintage back to life! just the fact that these cars were forgotten for so many years...great job you guys! ~watching from Hong Kong, SAR
  • Watching this video was not only satisfying (as usual), it was somewhat emotional for me. I'm 58 years old and my neighbor had a new one of these in orange back in 1978 when I was 13 years old. I lusted after that car and now I see one resurrected 45 years later. It's amazing and my reaction is hopefully understandable. This might be your best video ever

Never a super-car performer, but I’ve always secretly loved the look of the C3. That red interior…wow
  • Man i love to see this cars running they're been sitting for 4 decades.
  • 🥳🥳Every day with you would be a happy ending. It's about the special vibe I get from you❤️❤️
  • Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. OMG that Corvette interior is unbelievable , looking forward to see how that car comes out ! One comment a viewer stated you guys were not funny , you guys are funny in your way , it shows that people today do not understand trash talking & having fun ! Good job on the Vette ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍
  • The reason why i love this video so much, its how clean everything is, such a saved car. And also gotta love the Corvette, best looking cars.❤

Great detailing work fellas... Brought back memories of my father and his Corvettes. He was sales manager for a Chevy dealer back in the mid 50's. He would get new Corvettes in on a Friday, throw a set of headers on, take it to the local strip and win a few, then bring it back and sell it on Monday! I was still a gleam in his eye at that time...haha... On another note, my cousin who was injured in Nam, had partially recovered by 1978, turned around and bought a silver 1978 Anniversary Edition. I got to ride in it one time, then he wrapped it around a tree and died, though his wife luckily survived. I have always held a dream in my heart to own a Corvette one day, but at 68 years old, disabled, and broke, it will always remain a dream. The crowning achievement of the design team is the 1963 split-window Stingray, and I would gladly give just about anything to own one of those. I'm sure that heaven is indeed furnished by Chevrolet, and there is most definitely a full stable of 63 splits there!!!
