Much respect to Ji for finishing the food service with one foot. If healthy, she would have won hands down in season 5
-
Raj missing the exit while on his way out is definitely a true raj moment
-
Aaron’s was the saddest, he didn’t even get a happy ending after his hospitalization It truly broke my heart seeing him being hospitalized due to diabetes, then him dying 3 years after that
-
Joseph’s exit still is funny as hell. Dude was a former friggin Marine, and he can’t follow simple instructions, clearly the military didn’t teach him any values or respect!
-
Jeff- "I'm not a quitter." Quits 27 seconds later
-
Ji is the saddest early exit in Hell's kitchen. She would have done really well in the competition and probably would have probably gotten to the black jackets.
-
Season 6's early eliminations were absolutely iconic. There's Louie who got ejected on opening night, Melinda who went 👁👄👁 after wasting enough capellini to feed a village, and Joseph who can speak for himself.
-
Say what you will about chef Ramsey, when it comes to injuries and sickness he takes them VERY seriously
-
It always sucks to see someone have to go because their body failed them. That being said, I hope everyone that did go down that way got better fast and made a full recovery.
-
Ji's elimination still hurts me bad. She toughed it out pretty much that entire night until she just couldn't take it anymore, and I'm so glad her team, her opponents, and Ramsey saw that and commended her for it. She deserved every second she got in HK and more. I hope she's doing well and is successful these days, because she damn well deserves it. ❤

The surprise eliminations can speak for themselves, they know who they are.

I feel bad for Vanessa, an oil burn is a really serious thing and it’s very painful- and the fact that at least one of her teammates was eluding to her being a baby for tearing up at the pain is absolutely crazy to me (I forgot the teammates name but the way she was talking in her confessional during the dinner service was just out of pocket imo)
-
The person who cause this for Ji was Lacey, and spilling oil on the floor causing her pain and forcing her to withdraw from the competition. I wished Ji would have accepted Chef Ramsay's invitation of returning back to Hell's Kitchen. I really believed that had Ji came back in Season 7, she would have made the top 3 and dominated that season.
-
Ji's elimination was just heartbreaking. She powered through a whole service while standing on an injured foot, earning mad respect, but the pain afterwards was just too intense for her to keep going and she admitted it. She selflessly eliminated herself because she knew she couldn't keep going, as it would only drag the team down. Ramsay's words to her still choke me up, and the fact that he let her keep her jacket was the cherry on top. I hope Ji is doing well in life.
-
I love how Nilka's elimination went from heartbreaking to heartwarming. She wasn't ready and her meltdown really hurt, but the fact that Ramsay cooled down and met her outside to praise her before she left (he also probably wanted the jacket more than that, but still) shows that everyone has a bad day and they shouldn't let it ruin them.
-
Salvatore took his elimination like a champion so humble about. His understanding of why he got eliminated I wish more contestants left with such humbleness
-
24:35 That was so incredibly wholesome and generous of the Blue Team to clap for Ji as she exited as well as Charlie holding the door for her. That shows major levels of respect I really love!
-
Mad respect for Salvatore. He admitted his mistakes and took the consequences like a man.
-
No wonder Jay was given a sous chef position on the show, he was so kind and calm with Nilka when was going down in flames. I'd forgotten that part, it just shows the kind of person he is
-
Joseph not only shouldn’t be in a kitchen, he definitely shouldn’t be anywhere near a weapon
