The way that rent have gone up , I doubt that even something like this can be found at this price ! Happy for her ! Well organized and love that she can even sew ! I have the same sewing machine and looking forward to find a space for it too!

amazing! that lofted space is GORGEOUS. I feel like the LES is still pretty affordable (thanks to the proximity of more chaotic/congested Manhattan neighborhoods) and I hope it stays that way. so much art and culture there 🧡 I also love seeing what people can do with a more affordable unit vs the crazy priced $4-6k or the rent stabilized units. would love to see some Bronx, Washington Heights/Harlem, deep Brooklyn, deep Queens apartments with people who are “native” to the area or of less represented ethnicities. it would be so cool to highlight the style and ingenuity of someone who’s making the most with less.
