I turned 50 a few months ago. I had blood work done because of another issue but when I read my blood work results notably I was low on D25 and my T was 150... I went to a T clinic and tested again. It was 93.. WOW.. I've since taken my 2nd injection and already have more mental clarity and my energy is increasing.... Dont forget to watch your estrogen levels as they rise as your T rises.

I am 70. I have been testosterone deficient all of my life. I did not realize this until a doctor (not my PCP) diagnosed this when I was in my mid 50s. Since then, I've been on medication which has raised my T levels from almost zero to the minimum levels for a healthy male of my age. I eat a balanced diet. If you have low T levels, the dietary recommendations that you have made are like pissing in the ocean and expecting the tide to rise. I would highly suggest that anyone thinking that they have low T levels to get a blood test. This is the first thing you should have recommended. If your T levels are as low as mine, medication is the first line of defense. You can eat kale by the bushel baskets and not move the needle. The other thing that you should have said is that if you have prostate cancer, testosterone is your enemy. It will aggravate the cancer and potentially spread it. This happened to a friend.

It would nice to have the links to the studies when you do this type of video. Maybe you could put them in the description for future videos.

Hey Doc, great reference to Gilligan's Island and Ginger! I love your dry sense of humor, and it went by so quickly that it was easy to miss.

Really appreciate the videos you guys put out there, they really help expand our knowledge on how to live healthier lives!
  • Good video. Many people are concerned about this but the best advice is good diet lose all the junk food and cut out various sugars and sugar substitutes. They prey on people's fears.

I am wondering if our fruits and vegetables are as filled with vitamins as they should be. I mean, our fruit and vegetables are not ripe when they are picked; they become "ripe," so do they really work better than taking the actual vitamins?

Take Boron in very small quantities It's also used as rat position!
  • Doc's, I tried eating an oyster once it's like swallowing a big spoon of snot, I will lick my galvanized chain link fence if I need zinc. I'm 71 years old and have lunch with my friends that I was in first grade with, a couple of them are overweight and have low T, maybe has nothing to do with it but the weight makes me wonder. One of them also has ED, saw an ad on cable for generic Viagra no prescription needed and he end up spending a hundred dollars for zinc vitamins and he still has ED along with feeling dumb now. lol

Very interesting, I went to do bloodwork with my dad because I was worried about his health. Turns out my insulin levels (fasted), A1C is higher and Test level, and vitamin D is much lower than my dad’s Even tho exercise (lift and cardio) regularly and eat as recommended. Turns out I had T level around 600 my dad’s was a whopping 870ish 🤣🤣🤣 My old man eats natural fats including eggs, avocados, fatty fish, spends time outside working the land, and eats A LOT for someone his age and weight 🤣

Hey Doc's, love your channel. On a different subject, I have been watching a bunch of stuff on Taurine and was interested in your view of this supplement. Is it truly a fountain of youth a lot of these guys that are trying to live to a 150 are saying?
  • What is the maximum of brazil nuts daily? I get 4 to 6 in my breakfast portion. And what the symptoms of selenium toxicity? Thanks
