Someone gave me a puppy last week that I was not ready to receive. I kept him because who knows what would've happened to him if didn't take him. He is well cared for but I am too old to rough house with him. So, i bought him some excellent bones and toys. He is now potty trained to bark at the door when he needs to go. I'm glad he is here.

Oh my. That's exactly my life. I lost my dog of 14 years old a year ago. I said I would never get another dog as the pain I have never felt like that before, but as you said star, my niece got a puppy while she was pregnant, she already has 2 dogs and 2 cats and a 1n half year old daughter. I suggested for her not to get the puppy, but she didn't listen. 2 months after she asked me to take the puppy. I had the 2 of swords moment. Do I, don't I. I don't want that pain again, but I did give in, and we took him. Oh my goodness best thing I ever did. He has brought so much joy to our lives again, just what we needed. 😊 big blessing in a small package 😊

After a very difficult relationship of 30 years and raising 4 children on my own I finally can go and look for a place of my own to live peacefully I hope
