Former army HEMTT wrecker operator here (63S/H8)...... You guys are living the dream! You should look into getting some of the rear spades off of the HEMTT wrecker for your HETS... They're very heavy and a lot of manual labor but man if you need to plant that truck into the ground to pull with the winch there's nothing better.

I think one of the most overwhelming things I have noticed over the years of watching the videos is just how amazingly beautiful the landscape is out west. I have traveled very briefly through Colorado, Utah (Near Zion), and New Mexico and for an east coast guy living between Washington DC and Maryland it has me really thinking about relocating.
  • We got a big crew tonight here in Aussie, there’s 11 of us watching you guys, Matt,Fab Rats , Rory , you guys are awesome. Aussie Rob

I never thought I’d be so entertained by a bunch of fellas loading their shit and getting a dozer out of a swap, but the editing of your videos has gotten nuts! Good work editors!
  • Really freakin' cool to run into you for the split second you were in my store yesterday! Love what you do! Wish I had the tools you do. I was that curly hair kid you fistbumped!! You'll likely not see this among the sea of comments but it looked like you were in a rush but I'd love to ask you so many questions. Literally made my day that you even parked behind me. I pass your warehouse with the Freedom Bus 3 times a week but never believed I'd run into you.
  • It's truly amazing how far your team goes to help out another with something that nobody wants to deal with. Much respect and admiration for you guys doing what you do.
  • Wow I was surprised when you introduced Chase..that guy is a wild and crazy good dude. Basically watched his whole progression on YouTube..Bad ass hooking these good folks up good looking out
  • Your videos are straight up comfort food. Thats the best way I can explain it.
  • @CusterUK1
I love the sound effects when Dave is trying to figure out the controls... 20:55
  • I always think it’s cool when an engine comes back to life after it’s been sitting for a while. Thanks for the video.
  • One thing is for certain... You guys always have excitement and have to make many adjustments throughout the recovery process. Well done guys!!
  • The gas station owners must love it when your team pulls in to fuel up! Great videos sir!👍👍👍

Damn Heavy D, your effort in educating us in recovery, as well as making difficult recoveries, sets a precedent in todays society. Thank you 🙏 for all you do!
  • @MUSEMENT
Really enjoyed seeing the countryside. Glad your recovery went smooth. I rather have a pony motor to start a diesel instead of an air start any day, be thankful that most diesels nowaday have electric starters. Looking forward to your next video.
  • @windolite
I love the funny editing randomly. Makes such serious videos not take themselves too seriously
  • Every recovery is just so awsome and unique I would say they just get better but honestly every single one I have enjoyed so much. Mostly because I used to do this kind of stuff all the time up where I live here in AK, I miss it. Nicely done once again. And I saw another comment also and I agree the team that put this video together did an outstanding job, from on the ground to in the studio....GREAT JOB EVERYBODY! Keep it up!
  • @OVRCOME
Whoever edited this video is a genius! Love the fun and the sound effects! Hope to see more of this!
  • You’re gonna have to try harder than that to break that HET winch fairlead gantry I built
  • Thanks to you guys that D8 does not have to feel so lonely any more. I saw its tears when you arrived and then the smile knowing its going to be set freeeeeee!!! Well done. That green monster is a beast.
  • A couple of maxx traxx and a hold my beer moment. No winch required. Haha. Great work and this is what I love about you guys. Just some good ole boys making things happen no one else can! Thanks for taking us along!
