VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
There are some obvious problems with cigarette advertisements. The most obvious one is that, thank God, they are already banned.

But hear me out, because it wasn’t always the case. Cigarette advertisements flourished before the 1970s, and producers still had to overcome the fact that cigarettes will eventually kill the customers. Also, brand loyalty in the tobacco industry is extremely high. This makes it nearly impossible to convince a smoker to change to a “better” tobacco brand after he or she has a favored one.

No wonder thus, marketing competition in this field was awfully fierce in the 20th century. Succeeding in such a difficult environment requires an outstanding marketing approach. So the winner of the game might be a very good example to learn from.

The interesting question is how exactly did Marlboro get out of this advertising game as the biggest winner of the tobacco industry?

We did not have money to buy MRF bats, so we created our own bat from old woods and drawn MRF using sketch pen. Then we got the power of Sachin 🏏

The last quote got me hard. "Imperfections is beauty, madness is genius." Growing up i was imperfect both physically and mentally. I remember my own parents scolding me for it. Everything went sideways until i discovered that my imperfections are the reasons to my perfection.

Finally someone who is bold enough to speak against popular opinions. You are doing a great service to the youth of this gen. by connecting with them at a deeper level with your research, articulate explaination and in a language that the youth could connect to easily. I know many teens who started smoking after watching Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh and the likes, just coz they thought it was "cool", and this was to an extent that they thought being a "rebel" was the epitome of coolness. They never listened to their parents when they tried to help. Sad part is many of these teens are extremely poor and this behaviour of theirs was affecting their familes' finances. However, I was relieved when I got to know that one of these teens started to turn his life around after watching YouTube channels like yours. So please keep doing the great work and I've learnt the hard way that it's extremely difficult to regulate the content in movies, commercials and control campaigns of these sorts, as greedy businesses always try to find loopholes to manipulate the audiences. Best way is to educate oneself and be one step ahead in the game. And luckily we have you to help us with this❤️
  • I became the Marlboro man since i came to Switzerland. No matter where you are, someone at your side is smoking.
