  • Fun Fact: Phase 1 of Amazing Mirror's final boss had the regular boss theme.

The buildup at 0:35 (The actual reference starts at 0:41) borrows instrumentation from the "Phase 3/Sky Phase/Credits" Dark Mind theme. The credits theme is forever underrated, so to see it featured in an official track just feels good (yes, even if it's super subtle and probably unidentifiable unless you're a nerd)

I love the glass shattering at the beginning
  • @Mettalus
That cowbell. Someone's probably gone through at least one of those for this song alone.

This single music track is why we need a Kirby character as Smash DLC
  • @SABlueAngryBlur
I'm always thinking that Dark Meta Knight was smirking under his mask seeing Morpho Knight appear, thinking this was the nemesis he's been waiting for. Edit: How in the hell did this comment section become a thread about shipping? On Kirby characters nonetheless...
  • Vs. Dark Mind "Despite his original defeat, Dark Mind was revived by Dark Meta Knight. Surging with newfound power, Dark Mind tries again to defeat Kirby."

Easily my favorite Wave 2 remix, though I might be biased, Amazing Mirror was my very first Kirby game. The guitar and bass really make the song. Just, everything about it is so good!
  • This theme is the closest we will ever get to having a Kirby anime that isn’t 100 episodes and being more modern

Honestly, the thing I love the most about these new remixes is that they use different instrumental synths. Zero 2 uses the same samples you’re probably used to at this point, the Squeaks use some techno sounding stuff, and this song uses the same instruments used in the ultimate choice. It’s makes them all stand out.

For a fully 3D Kirby core game, I'd like a Metroidvania like Amazing Mirror. And, the return of Copy Essence Deluxes. I'd go with 12 areas, before the final level/battle. 1: Hub Hill-A grassland with the base of operations. 2: Funky Forest-A forest that hosts the obligatory battle with Whispy Woods/a clone of him. 3: Creepy Cave-A vast cave system. 4: Bountiful Bay-A beach 🌊 with a lot of water 💦 to swim in, and sunken treasure. 5: Desolate Dunes-A vast, arid desert. 6: Peaceful Palace-A large royal 👑 palace. 7: Nebulous Nebula-High in the sky, a world 🌎 among the clouds. 8: Gentle Glacier-A frozen area to the far north. 9: Twisted Temple-Ancient ruins hidden among the rainforest. 10: Vile Volcano-A mountain spitting out lava. 11: Enigmatic Engines-A high-tech factory staffed by robots. 12: Cosmic Cruise-A cruise 🚢 ship high into space. Ideas 💡 for new and returning Copy Abilities, and where you'd place their Essence Deluxes? And, for bosses?

I wish I knew how to mod so I could get this into smash because it deserves to be.
  • @RobMustDie482
Yeah the bit at the beginning where it sounds like glass shattering evokes an image of Dark Meta Knight leaping through the dimensional mirror to fight.
  • @ivanquote1807
I beat this boss just when the Dark Mind 2 part started. Unfortunate, but the speed at which the boss health bars drops is a problem.
  • im just imagining a scene where dmk fights of zan partizanne and hyness alone, making quick work of both, but then getting overwhelmed by Morpho Knight. As the butterfly of judgement attempts to kill him, the knight just laughs and flicks out a cellphone, and right as the boss theme begins, Adeleine, Ribbon, and Daroach all immediately run out of doors that spawn in the air, attacking Morpho Knight before they can get a chance to attack and healing DMK. Then all four face off against Morpho as a team, the pure being twisted by a dark past.
