The fastest cars of the weekend doesn’t mean less action – in the case of Prototype 1, it often meant more excitement at the 2023 SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Jim Devenport, Todd Vanacore and Lee Alexander all took turns aiming for the top spot of the podium and the on track action was just the beginning of the excitement.

Great cars, good racing. So old-school. I'd prefer a single SCCA Proto race instead of the whole IMSA season. The "Pro" racing is so boringly synthetic nowadays. I enjoy this type of racing even if it's only on club level. It brings variety. Thanks to the commentators who give some tech inside. I'd watch this races every week-end. Or every month at least.
