If something you grew up with still holds up, by all means, don’t abandon it. But I’m a firm believer in recognising and addressing kinks in such things and regarding things the way they are instead of how I remember them. Story structure means a lot to me, I strive to consider appeal from several angles, including but not limited to that of an average railfan, and I have been asked by viewers on many occasions what to my mind works and doesn’t work with various aspects of Seasons 1 to 5 of Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends.

    would love to see Lady next, or maybe Emily, Molly, or Rosie. These for steam engines. For Diesels I would say Diesel 10, Splatter, and Dodge yes I know that's three Thomas and the Magic railroad character but I absolutely love that movie. It would also be interesting to see you potentially do an idea Thomas and the Magic railroad, like your own take on the story and stuff using the same characters but probably changing some story beats. Adding characters that you think should be in there is allowed. I mean I kind of did something like that on AO3 where I did a sequel which would be my idea sequel for it called Thomas and the Magic Railroad 2: Adventure on Sodor. What I did was continue from where it left off had Edward appear in it plus Arry and Bert who join Diesel 10, Splatter, and Dodge as they try and take revenge. This one is more focused on the engines. There are also many things I did in it as well like give Lady a number plate.

    1948 would make since because Thomas would work his branchline for years, and then see birtie (new bus) and the race thing goes down
