Hawkwind - Silver Machine (Live With Lemmy)

Doesn’t get any better than that, Lemmys voice when he just sings “I” sounds like he’s boiling gravel in his throat

I saw Hawkwind do this when it first came out in 1972 I think. It was in concert at some small coastal town in Norfolk England. This was before they became really famous. Lemmy came out in to the audience and sat on the floor practically next to me (no seating in the place it was that classy) while the support band was on. He was using two large marbles rolling them round in his fingers the whole time. I guess to exercise his playing hand before going onstage. It was quite a night, I remember them playing Silver Machine of course. A Brilliant memory.

Man that is so much crazier than the recorded version 50 years ago. Great to see the 'old boy' playing with Hawkwind one more time. Absolute legend!

Two bass guitars. You don't get to see that every day of the week, unless you watch this video every day of the week, that is.

Lemmy was the man, and that Rickenbacker signature 4004LK he plays is the best looking bass I've ever seen. I miss knowing that he's out there. RIP.

When Lemmy left the center of the stage, the center of the stage followed him. He couldn't stop being the focus of a Rock'n'Roll show if he tried to.

For old skool speed freaks everywhere....nice one!

Lemmy had the class to leave the past behind for a while and play with the groupe that left him stranded in Canada....'nuf said.

R.I.P Lemmy. Great Man. A real WW2 History Collector. He knew his stuff.

Saw Lemmy with Hawkwind in the Brooklyn Academy Theater in the '70's GREAT SHOW!! Did shots with him in the '80's at a NJ gig. He gave me autograph that said " Bruce Who!!??" Lemmy -- still have it in my collection. Live on you bad mo' fo'!

Love how he did this song...this is NOT..the voice or sound he had with Hawkwind..This is motorhead
