Pablo Schreiber Says It’s Going To Take a While To Recover From Halo Season 2 Episode 4

Publicado 2024-02-11
The buzz around Paramount+'s popular adaptation series, Halo, has largely centered on the fact that the show switched creative hands, with showrunner David Wiener taking over for Season 2. The second season was nearly immediately greenlit, and once the ball got rolling with filming in Budapest, it was clear to the cast, and especially lead Pablo Schreiber, who plays Master Chief, that this reset would Reach new heights.

In an interview with Collider's Steve Weintraub, Schreiber's investment in the show is clear. Like the Spartan leader he plays onscreen, the actor was a rallying force in the development of Season 2, from training physically for his part to understanding the technical side of oners and the creatives' direction for the narrative arc. During their conversation, they discuss the new look of the Covenant, what it takes to stitch the perfect fight sequences, his hopes for Season 3, and the efficiency of filming on Season 2.

I love this show. So sad how people keep complaining.

Watching this I now realized that Pablo is the right person for the part. They are doing much better this season with the focus on everything. Good job team!

The action scene in episode 1 was amazing. It had those elements of horror that I really think made Halo CE special. I used to have nightmares after playing Halo CE as a kid for good reason.

I really hope this is gonna be a Star Trek Next Generation situation where the first couple seasons are rough.

Its actually pretty good for the creative aspect on where they wanna Take it, im a big halo fan and think they're doing exceptionally well from the First Season to this Season! Can't wait for the next Episode, the choreography is really Nice this Season imo. Hope they get a Season 3, people need to stop Comparing the Original Timeline with this Show, it leads to horrible Expectations! Be Grateful we are getting anything at all!

This dude makes a great master chief I don’t care what anyone says the tv series is good just watched episode 4 season 2
  • Pablo is great and does a fantastic job. It’s not his fault the writing for this show went off the rails and that they don’t keep him in a helmet more often.

Pablo seems like a real genuine bloke. IM here for the Halo redemption!

I just watch it bc of Pablo Schreiber 🙌

Other than pacing issues and shaky supporting characters, I'm a big enough Halo fan to see this through. Pablo seems like a genuine dude. Gaining 40 pounds of muscle is not easy and I appreciate his time and effort put into Master Chief. I'm psyched for episode 4.
  • As a Sifi show on its own taking its own interpretation of the halo Universe its really well made and very entertaining, an amazing show that will please any Si-Fi lover. For anyone who wanted this to reflect the video game you will be disappointed. I think the second point is the reason there are some who dislike this show. You Tube reviewers are going overboard about it though.

Pablo. Great interview mate. It’s good. Don’t get lost in the hate. I was skeptical. I watched it. I was wrong. Bask in the glory of a good show. Thanks.

I wish he was just an original spartan and not supposed to be chief. It just kills it for me and ruins my enjoyment of the show. I feel like they’ve not only disrespected the character but desecrated and crapped on him. He is a great actor and could be a great spartan but he isn’t chief.
