Devastating emotional footage. My heart goes out to all who are dazed and suffering. As a Cat 4 (Hurricane Maria) survivor, there is light after the darkness and calm after the storm. You survived.ππ

Take it from someone that experienced Hurricane Maria (cat 5) a few years ago, I know that feeling after the hurricane leaves. Wishing all the people affected by this force of nature a quick bounce back. PS> the occurrence was so devastating I remember having a trauma response hearing rain fall on the roof at night years later.

Carriacou is such a beautiful island with beautiful and kind hearted people. Itβs amazing how you can still see her beauty peeking through the devastation. My heart hurts for the people of Carriacou and PM as well as SVG and Grenada.
-
Praying that the people are safe and that other countries step forward to help rebuild this amazingly beautiful island.

Such devastation π’ That island is going to be years before it recovers. Amazing footage, thank you for sharing.

2:49 Jeez look at that destruction, I'm sure Caricou and the rest of Grenadines islands will need and receive help from it's brothers and sisters in the caribbean! ππΎ Such a historic and rare event for this region, to occur on the first day of July

From personal experience: all those buildings that look 'alright', roofs intact etc. Those 150 MPH winds drive the rain through the tightest windows, the tiniest cracks, water pours in and ruins carpets, floors furniture everything, the walls warp and buckles etc. etc.
-
Thanks for sharing. Thus far It seems that Carriacou took the brunt of the storm. Prayers for all the residents. Good work WXChasing> Stay safe.

From a Jamaican who survived Hurricane Gilbert, my heart goes out to u guys. May u come back bigger, stronger, better. We Caribbeans are resilient people, so, with God's help, we'll make it.β€

Very scary. I hope everyone came through safely. As someone who recently experienced the Derecho in Southeast Texas, I couldn't help noticing how many power poles were left standing after this powerful storm, even when palm trees fell. That will certainly aide in the recovery.
-
This is truly heartbreaking, words cannot express, thanks for life.
