  • When you start seeing palms fall, you know its crazy intense
  • @katem4365
My God. That was terrifying. I appreciate you filming this, though, because unless you live through it, it is hard to even grasp the sheer strength of those winds. ๐Ÿ˜ข

Exceptional work Brandon and an important documentation of a historic storm. I hope the relief comes in quick and the islanders are back on their feet ASAP.
  • I have lived in Florida for close to 40 yrs. Have been through several hurricanes in my lifetime. With a few of them being category 3 and 4. Have experienced gusts up to 140 to 150 mph and never lost a palm tree. To see palm trees snap like twigs is unbelievable. Palm trees have evolved to withstand storms just like this. They are very flexible and usually will shed their palms but be left standing. For them to be broken and pulled out of the ground shows you just how powerful this storm really was. What an amazing video. My prayers are with the people.
  • This is the only live coverage I've seen. Incredibly strong storm! This deserves a journalism award! You are very brave.
  • Praying that no lives are lost... May God protect us all, praying for all my Caribbean neighbours and my home island of Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ
  • ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ from Trinidad and Tobago ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡น. We where spared heavy damage but I feel it for the people of Grenada
  • You were very brave to capture the absolute power and destruction of this category 4 hurricane. I pray that all those affected get the assistance needed quickly. Sending up prayers from Barbados.

Iโ€™ve been in a number of hurricanes but this . . Is another level. Prayers to every one.
  • I was a Peace Corps Volunteer on Carriacou from 1998-2000. Thank you for giving us all an inside view of the hurricane. The people of Carriacou are friendly, happy, and love living the good life. I hope everyone in Carriacou comes out of this alive and that their intrepid spirit to rebuild and help others remains intact.
  • How absolutely terrifying! We expected Beryl to hit Barbados, but it hit Carriacou instead. Now I see what a barrage of bullets we dodged. My heart goes out to the people (and animals) of your island.
  • Each minute felt like an eternity I canโ€™t imagine being there. God bless you all.
  • Grenada, Carriacou ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ฉ you will rise above this. Praying no lives lost. I saw my beautiful island of Dominica ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฒ destroyed by Maria, but us islanders are resilient and naturally bounce back stronger. So shall this pass. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

That stubborn palm ๐ŸŒด tree is saying, " NOT THIS TIME BERYL! IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!"....prayers to all who are in the path of the hurricane ๐ŸŒ€ ๐Ÿ™
  • I think what got me the most were those very specific sounds of sheet metal bending. If you can hear it over that wind, the amount of force is just incredible. I'm glad you are safe, and I hope the absolute best for the kind people of this island.

Thank you for filming, sharing, and living through this amazingly intense storm.
  • Yall take care. Your lives are more important than a video. Remember that, but thank you for showing us what's going on
  • Thanks for sharing . My friend is here in Jamaica from Canada her 1st experience if and when it reaches Jamaica. I am praying for us .This is really bad. โค๏ธ

Very accurate footage of being ground zero when a cat 4/5 comes to visit. When IRMA passed overhead I couldn't see more than 10-20 feet when the eyewall passed. Maximum prayers for all in the path of this strong hurricane. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
  • After watching this my heart melted. ๐Ÿ˜ข Words can't express how sad and worried I am for you guys. Please continue to pray ๐Ÿ™ Much love from Guyana ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡พ. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
