I hate this city. I’ve tried living here for 11 years, and I used to really like it. What a shame. This is the last straw for me. Was a good run.

Much of this will be cleaned up in a few weeks. The streets will be clear by Monday. Repairs will be done on those commercial buildings by midsummer. Hotels are going to be full for awhile. Families and friends will help each other. That's how Texas folks roll.

  • Houston need to realize they need to build for hurricane type weather. No wals shouldn't be collapsing from a tornado

This is gonna cost billions in damage with those transmission lines down and all, better gas up, just in case there's a gas shortage too. Good to be prepared.
  • Sure hope you have cash on hand cuz those debit cards don't work with no power and they want to go to a cashless society can't even keep the power on what a stupid idea

The governor will find a way to blame it on the wind and joe

Working from home without power? How? We call that unpaid time off in Texas.
