I Packrafted Alone from Argentina to Chile… Here’s What Happened

Join me on an epic adventure as I tackle the rugged wilderness of Patagonia alone. Over six days, I'll cover 150km through pack-rafting and wild camping, starting from Lago Puelo in Argentina and aiming to reach the Pacific Ocean on Chile’s west coast.

This journey will challenge my resilience, with over 90km of paddling across pristine lakes and battling against headwinds that slow progress to a crawl. I'll navigate pulse-pounding Class III rapids that threaten to capsize my raft and make long portages to bypass treacherous Class V canyons in some of the most remote and inaccessible terrains.

But it's not all about the adrenaline. The trip also promises serene moments in dream camping spots surrounded by magnificent landscapes — from towering waterfalls and massive cliffs to the crystal-clear waters of glacial melts. Plus, there’s the chance to fish for pristine rainbow trout and fully immerse in the overwhelming beauty of nature.

Watch as I paddle, hike, and improvise through this thrilling adventure. Follow along and experience the full immersion into the heart of Patagonia.

Here we go, boys and girls. Join the adventure!

WARNING: I underestimated the risks of this expedition and failed in some safety measures (such as taking a helmet!). The river levels were also higher than planned and the rapids were more dangerous than anticipated. Recirculating water can be extremely dangerous and drowning is a real possibility. Going alone and/or into remote and hard-to-access areas makes it even more dangerous and external rescue may not always be possible. Please ensure you do your own research on any adventures and prepare accordingly. You are responsible for your own life and risks taken. I accept no responsibility for any actions taken by any individual watching this video and/or deciding to do this or something similar.

  • What a great adventure. Thanks for taking all the time to film it for us. It was very interesting to watch 😊😊😊
  • Great video; filming, commentary, respect for nature and good humor.
  • This was incredible Eze! The editing, the calmness, how connected and respectful to mother nature you are. The cold exposure, the berries and plant awareness.... No ego, we go!

your content and editing is unmatched. unbeleivible what people are able to film and show for us at home how vast and amazing our planet is. As always love the videos and keep it up! thanks too you ive descovered more of my home country scotland in the past few years than i have my whole life and im greatful for that. would love to know your back story before social media and before you started the channel because most people dont have those survival skills and they arent easily taught either. im 31 and most friends my age arent reallly into hiking and wild camping which is a shame because we have great laws here in scotland regarding wild camping and sad to see people my generation not take it for granted. also at the same time too many people ruin the landscape for others so i can see why some people might want to keep it sacred
  • Great adventure and filming. My only complaint is that I wish you would have fished more, caught more and cooked them along the way. All in all this was a great video that deserves several million views.
