Wow, this was a really well-made video analyzing not just ONE, but object shows in general. Nice job T3rror! -Cary
  • “The premise alone sounds like someone describing a drug trip: So then the leave stole the island from the fire, and everyone chased her, so she jumped into a map and went to a place with berries that turn you into metal…How did we get here?” This is the best thing I’ve heard all day.

Stone knew this would all happen, yet still lead Liam to this path. In my mind that means after all is done, and credits roll. There is a good ending

I love ONE, it's feels like what i've always wanted, a group of people that placed in nowhere but act like how people would actually react, their reaction is so realistic

FUN FACT: in the last episode of s1, if you play the radiohead song "Scatterbrain" right when the play button appears, the music and the animation sync up perfectly.

Another part of ONE I love is how when Bryce is back in the real world, he just... kind of acts like a normal person (if a bit traumatized). He has a minimum wage fast-food job, and lives in a normal apartment. Nothing too out-of-the-ordinary, just... Bryce.

I heard you using ONE soundtrack in an earlier video, never expected it to FORESHADOW this video. Truly the moment ever.

The concept of object shows in general is pretty fascinating to me. Something about them always had charm

It always bothers me when people suggest ONE as a starting place for those who want to get into object shows, since this video proves it's integral to have an established understanding of the typical format in order to fully take away the commentary, but at the same time, it makes me really happy that such a beautifully made show has been the introduction to the community for so many people and got them interested in checking out the material that inspired it. You did an excellent job covering the series here, wasn't ever expecting the coverage of an object show from T3rr0r but it's very very welcome!! (also thanks for the quick nod to my show BFPOR at the beginning that caught me off guard LOL)

When I first watched One it felt like when you get older. You can't have all this dopamine filled content you had when you were younger, but instead just need something that changes with you. That's what One is, it's the older grown up version of other object shows like BFDI. You can't just sit watching crap all day anymore and have to face reality.

Watching this again, its genuinely so fun

Having the big bad die in a freak accident is both funny and unique imo.
  • @HyperCrystal
I never expected you to make a video on ONE, or any other object show in general but i'm so pleasantly surprised

I got really sick one week and watched the whole series in ~one~ sitting. It really left an impact on me, and I’m not even very well versed in object shows to begin with, but I love the idea of objects being human-like and having lives and personalities. A big thing I love about One is that Airy is such an interesting antagonist, seemingly having no malicious intent yet torturing so many people without even noticing their pain. I was dissatisfied by the ending, but realized the series left such a big impact on me because the ending was so bleak and unresolved. I’m glad people are still discussing how great it is!
  • I never see ONE brought up by channels not centred around object shows, thank you so much for bringing attention to this show that might’ve not been given otherwise
  • @Shadow._.Kitsune
This video was an entire jumpscare. The object show community is really awesome and very silly, and it’s a really cool fandom to be in!
  • @alexexists3710
Well, I can confirm that the OSC is spreading through YouTube at an alarming rate.
  • @ackton
9:10 something i always loved about stone is that his ASL is accurate, and since ASL was my first language, having a literal show about objects with this much representation of personality is amazing, especially since cheesy probably tried his best to make stone accurate to real ASL. edit: CONGRATS ON BEING NOTICED BY JACKNJELLIFY
  • You only need to watch ONE once to love it. It’s amazing, and will always be one of, if not my favorite object show.
