    I miss javelin, I was provincial champion in high school. Javelin in its essence is about finesse and technique. It's a pure sport. And we've been throwing spears since the dawn of time. Glad it's still apart of the Olympics šŸ˜Š

    You need good reflexes, the ability to track, patience, being able to shoot at the right time without disturbing the gun...and many more. I've never even shot and track & field is my favourite sport, but I can see the skills involved with that sport as well.

    I think, two of the weapons of the ancient greece were carried to the present with one with a slight improvement in material- the Javelin; and the other has been greatly improve in materials, configuration and other necessary accessories to greatly improved its performance- the Bow and arrow for Archery.
