Mini Monsterpalooza, 2020 with Ted Haines, The Foamfabber and guests TAMARA WOODARD & DAWN DININGER!

TAMARA CARLSON WOODARD and DAWN DININGER were in the number five spot of day one on my Mini Son Of Monsterpalooza event. I thought it would be great to have them on together as they both had worked on season 1 of The “Mandolorian”... you know, that little Disney Star Wars show. I’ve known Tamara for almost 30 years. First working with her on “Carnosaur 2” and again at KNB FX Group. Tamara has had a fantastic career in special fabrication from the huge films like “Men in Black”, Jurassic Park III” and “Where the Wild Things Are” to the minute costumes for Laika’s “Paranorman” and “Kubo and the Two Strings”. I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn and working with her at Steve Johnson’s Edge FX. We worked together on “Bicentennial Man” and “Monkey Bone” and then later reconnected at Stan Winston Studio and Legacy Effects. Dawn is an accomplished fabricator and costume builder. And is truly one of the most pleasant people I know. Her skills have kept her busy on some of the biggest shows in town and at some of the best shops. She’s kept busy on shows like, “A.I.”, “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian”, “X-Men: First Class” as well as several of the Marvel Avengers films. Dawn and I kept busy for years on the KIA Hamster commercials at Legacy as well... as her about her break dancing.
