The Nuggets ability to find and develop hidden gems like this kid is unmatched. Instead of buying their team like the mediocre Lakers, the Nuggets built this team the right way. A lot of teams talk about family, With Denver it's actually true.
  • SIX BLOCKED SHOTS vs the Timberwolves!!!! “Swattin Watson” ✋🏿🤚🏿🏀
  • @Zitolos
When we drafted him CJ McCollum was the only person on any network covering the draft that hyped up the pick
  • A little note on his blocks that is often overlooked. Most of his blocks end up in the hands of Nuggets players. Part of that is we're a huge team, but also he is almost Bill Russell esque in his ability to hit it at angles that will bounce towards teamates
  • @racimegacar
Not one player, two players, Christian Braun too
  • @facilitator8322
He was insane last night. Him and Braun are kicking it into the next gear right at the start of the playoffs. Nuggets are insanely scary

Paul Geroge had said it before the draft that this kid would have a career, he had faced him in a friendly match and his defense had impressed him, that he wasn't afraid at all and did trash talking!

One of the best things I've seen from the Nuggets is when Watson jumped over Jokic to block that shot. Jokic was kind of pissed because he didn't realize it was Watson.
  • Someone watched wolves game last night 😂. Us Nugs fans have been watching him block the shit out of all stars all year lol
  • Thank you Denver for kicking ass on LeBronze and Manufactured Superteams!!! Blazer Fans and Basketball Fans in General.

Love that PWat is getting some attention lately. I said it during last years final stretch of the regular season, that PWat has the potential to be an up and coming star. I can remember him having breakout games vs. GSW (like you showed) and a close one vs the suns where we went toe to toe whilist sitting almost all of our starters. Watsons defence is already special and if he can work on his shot and his consistency, he can be a top player in this league. I really hope him and CB keep improving like they have already, so we don't need to trade for a KCP replacement, when his contract runs out. This team has at least 5 years left at the top (depending on how long Jokic wants to cook the league)

I sense a Kobe mentality from this kid. Still raw, have lots of room for improvement, but he has the early moves and swagger of Kobe. 💪

Always great vids, brother. Denver fan here, so it's thrilling to find some coverage about PWat (or Swatson, as some of us call him). We miss Brucie, of course, but PWat has some gifts that BB will never possess. Calvin Booth may be the Nuggets' most valuable gem; he seems to recognize hidden talent even better than Tim Connelly did when he was the GM in Denver.
  • this is a terrific article, well put together, well spoken. nice one.
