107 years old and sounds so vibrant.God sent this lady to get justice.
-
She sounds like she's in her right mind. God blessed her to live this long for a reason. Our time ain't his time but he's always on time !
-
Why would people dislike this? Respect your elders and listen to their stories. Their history, is our history.
-
My heart hurts hearing the stories from the survivors…God bless these two
-
Someone should set up a gofundme account to raise money for her so she could enjoy that trip to Africa ......
-
She is so wise and sharp for her age. 107? she seems more like 85. More on her life health plan please!
-
THANK GOD THEY ARE STILL ABLE TO TELL THEIR OWN STORY!! AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
-
I can’t imagine a 100 years of PTSD 😔 All praises do to the most high for keeping Mother Fletcher
-
Heck yes they deserve compensation
-
They STILL suffer from PTSD‼️ This is so grievous and vexing. 😠😠😠
-
Even after a hundred years, she still feels like she has to run. 😭 That is mind blowing!! I’m in tears because we can’t even begin to think about the shift of having their own and living life to a day later having to move and start from scratch, but always living with the terror in your mind that anywhere you live, it could happen again.
-
My dad, a black man, served in the US Navy during Vietnam. He told me about how he was mistreated by his white shipmates and how that still affects him to this day. I can't imagine what that must have been like for him and others like him who had to deal with that type of mistreatment and isolation. I'm so glad the Fletchers are able to tell about their experiences. Glad this story is getting more exposure. May the Lord bless them with many more years.

That must’ve been some top tier 4th grade education that Mother Fletcher was afforded because she’s pretty articulate to have had such a limited “formal” education. She’s far more educated than she’s giving herself credit. God bless their journeys!
-
This is so sad and most Americans never knew about this! I take my hat off and I bow down to these heroic individuals! God Help Us! This is devastating!
-
And Karen has the audacity to lock her door when she see ME.
-
The people that were terrorized by thugs in Tulsa should be paid reparations. REPARATIONS NOW
-
I absolutely love listening to elders speak. They have really lived through a lot of changes in the world 100 years worth
-
When asked if she thought it could happen again, Mother Fletcher said sure. It probably have already happened more than just one time in the past 100 years. There are horror stories that people are holding in silence. But God knows...
-
They should live the rest of their lives in luxury...
-
Mr. Van Ellis said, “I put my life on the line for my country”. As a Marine that really got me. He served despite the brutal injustice he endured. Both of them should be immediately and richly compensated while they are still able to enjoy themselves. THIS is the public service announcement for reparations in many different forms. Let’s get to it NOW.
