Don't Buy DeWALT Mowers until you watch this // 2023 has more options

I just grabbed the self propelled version the other day. The prices on these dropped significantly since the release of this video. The push version is actually a good better buy. It’s so lightweight that propulsion isn’t really needed for most lawns. That saves battery power too.

They did not tell that the rear wheel drive got bigger wheel on the drive wheel so if you got a grass with a lot of bump it manage better performance. I got the rwd model last years and the mower is fantastic BUT my confidence about the battery is low I needed to change 1 of the 2 battery after one summer... I take off that ridiculous translucid cover as it keep the battery too hot. I never drop a battery and only used slow charger that coms with the mower. Can cut up to 7 inch of grass to 3 inch (from 6 to 3 what I typically do) but struggle on wet grass at 5 inch. I collect the grass most of the time but sometime use the function to shred grass ( close all grass exit as the blade is designed to do)

Am folosit masina pentru o prima încercare și pot spune următoarele: Am tuns aproximativ 100 m2 cu acumulatori de 5 A deși aveam în plan sa tund aproximativ 700 m2.... deci sub așteptările mele date de producător ce se lauda cu autonomie pentru 800 m2. Timpul de funcționare a fost de aproximativ 15 min pana când acumulatorii au fost la zero. Ca sa termin treaba am folosit o motocositoare Sthil și am terminat f repede. Doream sa trec la masina de tuns pentru a beneficia de estetica mai bună - o masina de tuns iarba lasă terenul mult mai drept, ca un covor vs motocositoare. Deci, legat de autonomie, am fost foarte dezamăgit . În rest, masina pare ok, dar apreciez ca este sub cele electrice și cu foarte mult sub cele pe benzină. Oarecum regret decizia, poate îmi schimb părerea dacă se rezolva ceva cu autonomia acumulatorilor. Toate cele bune !

Sorry BYD. I cant put my trust in a company when their mower caught fire at the GIE debut. That unit should have been quadruple check before it was presented to the professionals. Imagine how little quality control the units going to the average joe will receive.

these are a joke, power tool batteries in a mower lol

I'll stick with gas mowers. Electric is junk
